Project #14 1138 Ga Highway Spur 20 Cartersville, GA 30121 09/11/10 — 09/11/10 Hours needed: 400 Volunteers needed: 50 Hours pledged: 100 Hours logged: 0 | Description: Volunteers are needed for "The Great Lake Allatoona Cleanup", a consensus top three National Public Lands Day Event every year. The cleanup attracts 3,500 each year and will be held on Saturday, Sept 11, 2010 from 9:00 AM to Noon. For volunteering, you will receive a commemorative embroidered patch with the current date. Everyone will also be served a free BBQ lunch and there will be a DJ for entertainment. Supplies: Supplies: Comfortable clothing, rain gear, boots or sturdy non-slip shoes, work gloves, sunscreen, drinking water, and life jackets for children and non-swimmers. | Status: Available |
