USACE Canyon Lake; Canyon Park Project #130 Canyon Park Canyon Park Rd Canyon Lake, TX 78133 07/22/10 — 12/31/10 Hours needed: 800 Volunteers needed: 30 Hours pledged: 5 Hours logged: 0	Description: Canyon Park is a peninsula that sticks a mile out into the lake. The shoreline needs a clean up in the fall. Trash and debris left by guests or blown in from the lake needs removal. The park has about 4 miles of gentle to steep shores. Some are accessible by foot and some by boat. Supplies: Need: Trash bags, leather work gloves, good pair of hiking boots or tennis shoes, water to drink, hats for shade, canoe or kayak to clean the edge of steeper shorelines, sun screen and lots of patients.
